3. Order Process & Contract Formation
- The display of products on our website is not a binding offer— it is an invitation to purchase.
- By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase goods from us.
- We will send an order confirmation email, but this does not signify acceptance.
- A binding contract is formed only when the goods are dispatched.
- We may decline your order before dispatch in cases including, but not limited to, stock shortages, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
4. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- We take reasonable care to ensure prices are accurate; however, errors may occur.
- If an error is discovered after your order, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.
- Payment is taken at the time of order through our secure payment provider (GlobalPayments).
- We do not store full payment card numbers.
5. Product Availability & Substitutions
- All products are subject to availability.
- If a product becomes unavailable, we may:
- Provide a suitable substitute of similar price and quality, or
- Refund the unavailable item.
- You may refuse substitutes during delivery and receive a refund.
- Fresh and produce items may vary slightly in weight.
6. Delivery
- Goods will be delivered to the address specified at checkout.
- You must ensure the delivery information provided is accurate.
- A person must be available to accept delivery.
- If we are unable to deliver due to no access, no answer, or incorrect address, items may be returned and additional charges may apply.
- If delivery is delayed significantly, we will contact you to re-arrange or offer a refund.
- Risk passes to you once delivery is made; ownership passes once full payment is received.
7. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
Perishable Goods
- Perishable grocery items (fresh, chilled, frozen, fruits, vegetables, bakery etc.) cannot be returned once delivered unless the item is damaged, not as described, or unsafe.
- Issues must be reported as soon as possible (ideally within 24 hours of delivery) with photographs where possible.
Non-Perishable Goods
- You may cancel or return non-perishable goods within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- You must notify us of cancellation within 14 days of receiving the goods.
- Items must be returned in original condition and packaging.
- Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, you are responsible for return postage costs.
Refund Processing
- Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods or resolving the issue.
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- We do not exclude liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any rights you have under consumer law.
- Subject to the above, we are not responsible for:
- loss of profits, revenue, or business;
- any indirect or consequential losses.
- Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the value of that order.
